Service Description

The Akoma Holding Space is a protected, grounded space for you to soften, exhale, and be held. This is a place of gentle release, recognition, and return — where you do not have to perform, explain, or be strong. This space holds patience, not pressure. Tolerance, not judgment. Grace, not shame. Protection, not exposure. Presence, not performance. You are welcome here as you are. The Akoma Holding Space offers emotional, spiritual, and ancestral support for those carrying visible and invisible weight. This is not therapy, coaching, or fixing. This is holding. This space is for you if you are tired of being the strong one, navigating transition, grief, or uncertainty, or simply needing to be witnessed without being managed. You do not need the right words. You do not need a clear story. You only need to arrive. Each session is held with steadiness, care, and respect. You may experience quiet, tears, breath, stillness, reflection, or release. There is no pressure to share and no demand to perform. This space moves at the speed of safety. Sessions are available: In person at an Akoma location or agreed community space In person in your space (travel fee may apply) Online / virtual All sessions are held with the same level of care, protection, and presence. This is a protected container. Your vulnerability is respected here. This space is not recorded by default and is not for crisis intervention. Clear and compassionate boundaries are part of how the space is held with integrity. When you book, you will receive an intake form and Sacred Space Agreement to complete before your session. These are part of how safety, clarity, and care are maintained. You do not have to carry alone. You do not have to be strong here. You are welcome in The Akoma Holding Space.
